Missouri Girl Tonight.

"The Missouri Girl," will be presented at the Grand Opera tonight identically as it was given during its prosperous run in Chicago. A prominent critic in speaking of the performance says: "It is a bouquet culled from all that is prettiest in the Raymond garden. The dramatist, the company, the scenery, the mechanic and the electrician have bestowed upon it their highest talents. It is the grand climax of a series of Raymond successes. Fun predominates throughout the performances. Once witnessed always brings forth the same verdict, ‘Raymond’s otter of roses, the sweetest of her extracts.’" A clever company will interpret this popular comedy on date named.

Mornin',

Yada, Yada, Yada. The fact is it’s easy to sit back and say what won’t work. The trick is to come up with somethin’ that will.

There were plenty a folks who figured it was simple enough ta see that man wasn’t meant to fly. And look at all the history that pointed to that fact.

The folks on the Lodgin’ Tax Committee are takin’ their time comin’ up with an answer, but from all appearances they are makin’ progress. The funds are mostly committed for this year and there is time for some thoughtful consideration and orderly conclusion.

The evenin’ paper bein’ impatient for a simple answer to a problem that has been brewin’ for the last ten years or so seems a little like the kids wantin’ to open Christmas presents early.

This is some fact, but mostly,

The battle of the bulge is still in full swing. Many new products are being marketed at this time. Some are good, some questionable and some just not good at all. The fibers which absorb fat before it can be metabolized are popular because they are working. Not only do they add extra fiber to the diet, but they are easy and allow the user to follow a fairly regular eating habit. Especially during the holidays, it is hard to say no to all the extra fatty goodies. A couple of things to remember: if you are allergic to shellfish, stay away from chitosan as it is from shellfish. Also, with any of these products be sure that you are not taking the essential oils your body needs as it will absorb them also. Example: do not take them if you are eating a nice salmon dinner or if you have just taken your multivitamin with Vitamin E, A or any other of the oily vitamins as they will be absorbed and flushed from the system along with the undesirable fats. An occasional complaint has come back regarding an urgent need to eliminate, but most are pleased with this type of product.

Amino acids are making their way back into the diet limelight again. Arginine/ ornithine just before bed, a hydrolyzed protein compound prior to bed, protein drinks in the a.m. or as a meal replacement. Protein is high in amino acids and helps to build muscle.
